About Mayday
Every November the Spodek, Katowice's concrete flying saucer, turns into a sixteen-hour techno cathedral, and has done since 2000. The 27th edition, 'Iconic', runs from late afternoon into the next morning: Sven Väth, Perc, Lilly Palmer and Deborah De Luca up top, PetDuo and Klaudia Gawlas keeping it hard, and a forest of hands going up every time the hall yells MAYDAY.
