Fifteen years in, Northern Bass is still where New Zealand's drum & bass crowd goes to see the year out: two nights, three stages, a paddock an hour north of Auckland and a countdown soundtracked at 174. The first announce leans hard into the genre's royalty, Andy C with Tonn Piper, Culture Shock, Lee Mvtthews, The Upbeats, plus JME for the grime heads. More names are still to come.
