Primavera Sound

Primavera Sound is the Barcelona company behind the festival of the same name, which has run at the Parc del Fòrum since 2005 and grown from an indie weekend into a five-day city-wide week with a sister edition in Porto. Its bills cut across rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic without apology — the same night can hand you Massive Attack, Skrillex and a 6am Richie Hawtin — which is why the dance side of the crowd keeps turning up.
