A 480-acre island park in the East River between Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens, with the Manhattan skyline behind the stages. Electric Zoo has run here since 2009.

Tip
Getting on and off the island is the whole logistics problem. The 103rd Street pedestrian bridge from Manhattan is the reliable route; festival ferries run from East 90th Street but the queue after the last set is long. Leave a set early or plan to wait.
