About Mayday
The mother of all raves still lands on Walpurgis night: four floors of the Westfalenhallen running from 7pm until the trams start again at dawn. It began with 5,000 ravers in a Berlin hall in 1991 and now spans the whole family tree, hard techno setting the pace, raw and bounce on the edges, acid and the classic stuff bridging the generations who've been coming for thirty years.
